"BIODIVERSA+ 2021 Year “Supporting the Protection of Biodiversity and Ecosystems on Land and Sea” Call Opened

Horizon Europe, European Biodiversity Partnership (BiodivERsA+) within the scope of the call titled "Supporting the Protection of Biological Diversity and Ecosystems on Land and at Sea"; aims to provide science-based guidance to actions and policies aimed at protecting biodiversity at all levels (genes, species, ecosystems) and ecosystem integrity across land, freshwater, and sea, and to propose new approaches and policies.

For the call aimed at protecting biodiversity in the natural area, 3 themes have been determined.

    Theme 1: Producing knowledge for the identification of priority conservation areas, the creation of effective and resilient ecological networks, the development of species-based conservation, and the protection of genetic diversity.

    Theme 2: Projects on the multiple benefits and costs of biodiversity and ecosystem protection.

    Theme 3: Projects related to management and governance to achieve effective conservation outcomes.
